Lithium Ion Batteries: Safety and thermal management
Filed under Allgemein
What is the best way to ensure the safety of Li Ion Batteries? Which thermal interface materials ensure optimized thermal management? Learn at IQPC’s 5th International Congress Li Ion Batteries, 23 – 25 April 2012 in Darmstadt more about the solutions for these challenges.
The first pan-European event on Li Ion batteries for automotive application presents a special focus on materials and thermal management of the battery.
Conference presentations center around following topics:
• Market trends and outlooks, e.g. Materials road map 2012 – 2030
• Battery pack design for a reliable driving range
• Lithium Ion cell materials
• Thermal management of the battery
• Safety aspects, e.g. focus on degradation process and battery aging
OEMs like Daimler, Porsche, Jaguar, Ford and many more will be onsite to share their findings and possible solutions.
Conference attendees may participate in the Interactive Workshop Day on Wednesday, 25 April 2012. They may choose from following topics:
• Battery lifetime – evaluating and managing warranty risks
• Li Ion technologies
• Battery management systems
• The safety aspect of Li Ion batteries
Philippe Gyan, Research Engineer at Renault said about our past automotive battery technology congress:
“Enriching interactions with participants give broader perspectives on up-to- date battery issues.”
